Przelewy24 is a Polish online payment gateway run by PayPro S.A. of Poznań, a national payment institution supervised by Poland's financial regulator, the KNF. The Danish group Nets took control of PayPro in 2019, Nets merged into Italy's Nexi in 2021, and Nexi's June 2025 report lists PayPro as wholly owned. It gives a Polish online shop the payment methods Polish shoppers expect in one integration: BLIK, pay-by-link bank transfers, Visa and Mastercard cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay, plus instalments and buy-now-pay-later through partners. As of October 2026 the standard fee for BLIK, bank transfers and PLN card payments is 1.29% + PLN 0.30 per transaction, with VAT added where the law requires it. There is no monthly fee, refunds are free, and the PLN 59 activation fee is refunded once you complete 10 transactions in your first two months. Funds are available by the end of the next business day, and four PLN payouts a month to a Polish bank account are free. The contract has no fixed term and either side can end it on one month's notice. Pricing and terms are unusually well published. The weak points are payments outside Poland, which cost more and need foreign-currency accounts, broad rights to hold funds (up to 180 days on card transactions under review), a PLN 100 fee it can charge on each chargeback, and a Trustpilot score of 1.3 that is mostly payer complaints but includes merchants describing frozen funds and slow verification.

Polish online shops, service businesses and invoicing merchants, from new sellers to mid-size stores, that want BLIK, pay-by-link and card payments with plug-ins for WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento and Shopify.
The take
BFor a business selling online to Polish customers, Przelewy24 is a sound default. It offers BLIK, bank transfers and cards through one contract with a licensed Polish payment institution, at a published 1.29% + PLN 0.30, with no monthly fee or fixed term. The terms are public, so you can read every fee before you sign. We hold the grade at B because support and dispute handling draw heavy criticism, the agreement gives Przelewy24 broad power to hold payouts and end the contract immediately, and its cross-border pricing (2% to 3.6% on foreign-currency cards) makes it a poor choice for selling outside Poland.
Sell mainly outside Poland, need one provider for in-store and online payments across several countries, operate in gambling, online games, e-cigarettes or other categories its terms exclude, or cannot tolerate a payout hold while a review runs.
The headline take, the audiences it's right (and wrong) for, and the genuine differentiators behind the verdict.

It is a Polish payment institution built around Polish payment habits, especially BLIK and pay-by-link from Polish banks. It publishes its whole fee table and merchant agreement on its website, so the price and the hold rights can be read before signing.
Real-world cost at three volumes, plus the rates, fees, payouts, and contract terms that drive them.

Przelewy24 is an online payment gateway for businesses selling to customers in Poland. The service is run by PayPro S.A., a joint-stock company registered in Poznań (KRS 0000347935, NIP 7792369887). PayPro is a national payment institution supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). The KNF authorised it on 10 June 2014, and it is entered in the KNF register under number IP24/2014. The company says the Przelewy24 service started in 2004. It also says it now has more than 250 staff and that its 300,000th merchant registered in May 2024. It calls itself the largest online payment operator in Poland, which we have not independently verified.
PayPro was founded and long run by Piotr Kurczewski. At the end of 2018 the Danish group Nets notified Poland's competition authority, UOKiK, that it intended to take control of PayPro, and UOKiK cleared the deal in February 2019. In August 2019, with UOKiK and KNF approval in place, Przelewy24 announced a new holding group, P24 DotCard, combining Przelewy24 with Dotpay and eCard, which Nets had already bought, and said Nets held 51% of it. Cashless.pl reported in November 2021 that Kurczewski had left the board and, without company confirmation, that he had sold his remaining shares to Nets. Nexi's interim financial report for 30 June 2025 lists PayPro S.A. as 100% owned by P24 Dotcard, which in turn is 100% owned by Nets Denmark. Dotpay's business moved into PayPro in April 2021, and PayPro announced in October 2023 that the integration was finished and the Dotpay brand would disappear. Nets merged into Italy's Nexi on 1 July 2021, and PayPro's merchant terms describe Przelewy24 as part of the Nexi group. Nexi is reviewed separately on this site, but Przelewy24 has its own brand, its own contract and its own pricing.
When you sign up, your agreement is with PayPro S.A. itself, not with a bank behind it. PayPro is the licensed payment institution that collects the money, holds it in your merchant account and pays it out. Its terms state that it holds the Visa and Mastercard authorisations needed to provide acquiring for card payments. That puts Przelewy24 in the site's Platform / Acquirer category. Merchants are not sub-merchants on someone else's master account, so it is not a payfac. It is not an ISO or reseller, and it is not a merchant of record, because your customers buy from you. For a few methods, such as PayPal and Skrill, the fees are billed directly by those providers.
Przelewy24 publishes its full fee table as Annex 4 of its general terms (OWU), which have been in force since 16 September 2024, and the pricing page on its website matches them as of 23 October 2026. All amounts are in Polish złoty unless stated. The terms say Przelewy24's charges are increased by VAT in line with the rules in force when the tax falls due. Neither page shows a gross price, so check your first monthly invoice. Invoices are issued by the 7th of each month for the previous month, and fees are normally deducted from your balance.
As an illustration, a shop taking PLN 50,000 a month in 500 orders of PLN 100 would pay 1.29% of PLN 50,000 (PLN 645) plus 500 × PLN 0.30 (PLN 150), or PLN 795, about 1.6% of sales, before any VAT and assuming no more than four payouts a month. Because the fixed PLN 0.30 counts for more on small baskets, a PLN 20 order costs PLN 0.56, or 2.8%. The rate is the same for BLIK, bank transfers and cards, so a shop gains nothing on its Przelewy24 fees by steering customers from one method to another. New online sellers who qualify for the Polska Bezgotówkowa programme pay no card commission for 12 months or until PLN 50,000 of turnover, and no activation fee. Shops above PLN 150,000 a month in online sales are invited to ask for an individual price.
You register online, accept the agreement and confirm your details with a verification transfer from your business bank account. Then you submit the documents Przelewy24 asks for. The agreement only takes effect once verification is complete, and if that has not happened within 180 days of registration it lapses. The company says you can start selling the same day. The standard methods are switched on when the agreement takes effect, and others, such as recurring card payments, non-standard BLIK variants, PayPo, Klarna and foreign currencies, are activated on request. Some can require extra checks or a deposit. Integration is through a hosted payment page, a REST API or plug-ins for WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento and Shopify, and the gateway is built into the Shoper shop platform. Extras include payment links, a virtual basket, marketplace payments, mass invoicing for utilities and lenders, IVR payments, OneClick card payments and reporting. Przelewy24 also advertises business financing of up to PLN 1.2 million through Przelewy24 Finance. We have not reviewed those loan terms.
The terms commit Przelewy24 to making a completed payment's funds available by the end of the next business day, unless anti-money-laundering measures prevent it. You can opt in to longer availability periods. Payouts go on request from the panel or on a schedule. The default sends everything on the business day your available balance reaches PLN 1,000, and you can change that straight after registering. Przelewy24 can suspend payments and payouts without notice, block your access, or end the agreement immediately if it has a justified suspicion that you have breached, or may breach, the agreement or the law, or of unauthorised use of the system. For card payments, a separate clause in the card annex allows it to block authorisations and withhold proceeds for up to 180 calendar days while it gathers explanations, including when it expects chargebacks. Chargebacks are offset against your balance, or billed by debit note if the balance is too low, and some methods can be made conditional on a deposit, insurance policy or bank guarantee.
The agreement runs for an indefinite period, and either side can end it on one month's notice. Notice takes effect at the end of the calendar month after the month in which it is delivered, so in practice you are tied in for one to two months. You can give notice from the admin panel or by email, and there is no termination fee. Przelewy24 can terminate immediately for listed reasons, including prohibited goods, high money-laundering risk, repeated breaches, a demand from an intermediary institution or card scheme, or six months without a single payment. It can also withdraw individual payment methods while keeping the rest of the agreement in force. It may change the terms unilaterally with at least 14 days' notice, and you may terminate before the change takes effect. Disputes go to the court for Przelewy24's registered office in Poznań after 30 days of negotiation. Complaints can also be taken to Poland's Financial Ombudsman (Rzecznik Finansowy), and the terms mention the arbitration court at the KNF.
As of 23 October 2026, Przelewy24 has a TrustScore of 1.3 out of 5 from 168 reviews on Trustpilot, and 93% of them are one-star. The profile is unclaimed, and we saw no company replies. Most complaints come from shoppers about failed payments, particularly with foreign cards, and forced currency conversion. That is typical of a gateway shoppers meet at checkout. Merchant complaints describe slow account verification, sales staff not following up, outages, unexplained account suspensions and frozen funds with unresponsive support. Trustpilot reflects only a small number of reviews for a service with hundreds of thousands of merchants, but the merchant themes match the hold and termination rights in the terms. The company publishes a formal complaints procedure for merchants and payers, with written, electronic and phone channels. We found no lawsuit, settlement or regulatory enforcement action naming PayPro S.A. as the defendant. The UOKiK filings we saw concerned merger clearance, not enforcement.
Przelewy24 suits businesses whose customers are mostly in Poland: online shops, subscription and service businesses, utilities and lenders collecting payments by link (the card annex bars loan repayments by card), and shops on WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Shopify or Shoper. It is a reasonable fit for a new seller, with no monthly fee, a refundable activation fee and a free first year of card payments for those who qualify for Polska Bezgotówkowa. It is a weaker fit for exporters, because foreign-currency card payments cost 2% to 3.6% and need settlement accounts in each currency. It also does not suit businesses in categories its terms exclude, such as unlicensed gambling, e-cigarettes and crypto, or, for card payments, online games, betting and dating services, or businesses that cannot absorb a payout hold. Read the general terms before you sign. They are public, and they are the clearest guide to what Przelewy24 can and cannot do with your money.

Under the general terms (OWU) in force since 16 September 2024, the agreement runs indefinitely. Either side can end it on one month's notice, which takes effect at the end of the calendar month after the month the notice is delivered. You can give notice in writing, by email or through the admin panel. Przelewy24 can end the agreement immediately for reasons including suspected prohibited goods, high money-laundering risk, a material breach, an acquirer or card-scheme demand, or six months with no transactions. It can also end the agreement for individual payment methods only. It can change the terms with at least 14 days' notice, and you can terminate before the change takes effect. Disputes go to the court for Przelewy24's seat in Poznań.

Przelewy24 Raty, an instalment option provided with partner lenders, and deferred-payment methods from partners: PayPo for consumers and Spingo for business buyers. The lender, not the merchant, carries the credit.
A bundle of the online gateway and a card terminal for in-store sales, sold through a sales callback. The terminal is provided by Polskie ePłatności (PeP), another Nexi group company in Poland, so you sign two separate agreements and get two invoices. The bundle's rates are set out in separate offer rules, not in the gateway agreement.
As of October 2026, the fee table in Przelewy24's general terms lists 1.29% + PLN 0.30 per transaction for pay-by-link bank transfers, BLIK, cash payments and PLN card payments, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. On a PLN 100 order that is PLN 1.59. The pricing page lists the same rate under its standard price list, next to a struck-through 1.9%, and the page also carries a banner for a new-customer offer. It does not explain the 1.9%, so ask whether your rate is fixed or introductory. There is no monthly fee and refunds are free. The terms say Przelewy24's charges are increased by VAT in line with the rules in force when the tax falls due, so check your invoice for how VAT is applied. Businesses with more than PLN 150,000 a month in online sales can ask for an individual offer.
